Green Tea Margaritas
You might as well get a little health boost while you enjoy your Cinco de Mayo margarita, right? This version uses cold green tea as a base for lime juice, tequila, and a touch honey.
Not only is my Green Tea Margarita lower in added sugars and calories than most, but it’s packed with powerful compounds called catechins that have been associated with reduced risks of heart disease, some cancers, and some brain diseases like Alzheimer’s.
After working tirelessly for months on a book deadline, I feel like I could benefit greatly from any brain boosting food! I'm happy to say that my book is now officially submitted and I look forward to all the space that just freed up in my calendar... and on my counters!! Now THAT is something worth celebrating!
