What's in Your Cereal?
Y'all might remember my post on social media recently that showed a picture of the cereal boxes my children convinced their grandparents to buy while I was out of town for a work conference. They have always been great at taking advantage of a good opportunity, and this visit to the grandparents was no exception. When I got back, Mom sent what was left in each box home with the kids, and I couldn't help but laugh at the foods they had convinced my parents to buy -- cinnamon-swirled cereal coated in sugar, cereal with marshmallow charms, and, my personal favorite, two-pack frosted pastries with sprinkles.
Needless to say, I was inspired to create a blog post on what they best cereal options were these day, what to look for, and what to avoid - something that I hadn't visited in awhile and wanted to know myself!
I got researching and came along an article on Lisa's website : 100 Days of Real Food. Why mess with a good thing, right?! She has managed to organize her post in a way that I thought would be perfect for you. Check out her post, What's in Your Cereal?, which shares some great tips on how to pick the perfect cereal for your family while also giving you some warning signs of what to avoid.
