Holiday Caprese Skewer wreath

Play around with the shape of this appetizer board as desired. Let your creativity take over and have fun. Caprese-inspired appetizers are always a hit which means you can’t mess this one up!
Ingredients
1 ½ pints cherry tomatoes, washed and dried
4 oz fresh basil, washed and dried
2 (7-oz) containers of fresh mozzarella pearls or bocconcini
32 (3.5 to 4-inch) wooden skewers
2 Tbsp balsamic glaze
½ cup pesto (optional as dipping sauce)
Method
Thread 1 tomato, 1 basil leaf and 1 mozzarella ball onto each skewer. Repeat procedure with remaining ingredients and skewers.
Arrange skewers on a large plate or serving platter with the mozzarella pointing toward the center of the plate or platter. Loosely cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Before serving, drizzle mozzarella balls with balsamic glaze. Place pesto in a small bowl in center of wreath if desired.
