5 Pinterest-Worthy Halloween Treats -- That You Can't Mess Up!

I learned in my early preschool years of parenting that Pinterest was nice to look when it came to holiday treats, but NOT where I needed to get my ideas from unless I had a lot of patience and a full 72-hours to work on one project. Surely I’m not the only mom who’s tossed a Pinterest idea mid-way because the steps were a lot more complex than that cover photo suggested?!

So when I do run across holiday ideas that appear feasible (and I’m talking 30 minutes or less, with little room for failure), I make sure to save them!

Here are some of my favorite, super-simple Halloween treats for class parties or neighborhood get togethers, and they’re totally Pinterest-worthy!

How Pinterest-worthy and simple are these Halloween treat bags?! And even better, the labels are available via a free download from Rockin Resources.

On occasion, my kids like to pretend they don’t like avocados because they’re green. Make that green the base for a scary face though, and they have no problem scooping it up. To keep things super simple, I use my favorite pre-made refrigerated guac from Good Foods

Showing up to the neighborhood Halloween party with a taco-inspired dip is never a wrong move. Put sour cream in a heavy-duty plastic bag and snip a small end off one corner to pipe the spiderweb. To make it a little healthier, you can sub plain Greek yogurt or use a mix of sour cream and yogurt.

This Halloween treat is so simple – and exactly why a mom like me who overthinks everything couldn’t come up with it herself!

Probably my all-time favorite Halloween homemade treat, these ghosts and pumpkins only require a Sharpie. WINNING! They also don’t require too much artistic talent.

This takes a little more patience (and a little less help from the kiddos toward the end since you need strategic veggie placement to make the face) but I love this sheet pan dinner. It’s perfect for Halloween night when everyone needs to eat quick.
